Overview

Designed to lubricate and protect internal pump components by preventing friction and corrosion.

• Ideal for Wagner airless sprayers with piston‑type fluid pumps (e.g. IceBreaker, EvoMotion, PolarFlex series).

• Recommended when performing shutdowns longer than a few days or during winter storage.

• Avoids dry-start damage and extends the lifetime of piston packings and seals.

• Purpose-built for Wagner piston pumps: Used as a “separating agent” in the oil cup between air motor and fluid section to prevent hydraulic contact and wear during long-term storage or intermittent use.
• Reduces wear and corrosion: Lubricates critical seal surfaces and piston interfaces to avoid premature failure, especially during seasonal shutdown or idle periods
• Easy maintenance: Filling level typically about 1 cm below the cup edge, per Wagner service manuals, to properly engage with internal components without overflow

Usage Instructions

For routine maintenance or long-term storage:

• Clean and flush the sprayer per manual guidelines.

• Remove residual water or solvent from the fluid pump.

• Pour separating oil into the oil cup (usually positioned between air and fluid sections).

• Maintain fill level approximately 1 cm (or 0.4 inches) below cup rim.

• Do not tilt the pump more than ±30° while filled; keep vertical during operation for correct function

This oil acts as a protective barrier, preventing paint or water-induced corrosion during downtime.
